New stuff

I’m in the midst of preparing for my very first craft fair.  I’ve been sewing purses, bags, stroller quilts and another baby quilt to sell.  I’ve also had some special orders and other sales that I’m thrilled about!

My true love is quilting so I was so excited to be able to spend time finishing this gorgeous 9 patch baby quilt.  I am so in love with this quilt!  The gray and orange fabrics came in a bundle that I purchased.  I wanted the back to be interesting but not compete with the front so I just added a strip of the gray and orange squares and kept the other fabric a light gray.  I bound it in dark gray.  It’s dimensions are 33″ x 41.5″.  It is currently for sale for $115.

I also made a new ragged edge bag.  It measures 9″ x 9″.  I used two fun batiks that I found at my favorite quilting store.  It’s also reversible!  This bag is perfect to use as a nursery bag or as a lunch bag.  It’s also machine washable, which is a bonus.  It is currently for sale for $25.
